Notes
The Relay app opens on your notes: every ring note and typed note, newest first.
Read your notes
Section titled “Read your notes”Each note shows:
- Ring or Typed: where the note came from.
- A microphone mark when the note has a recording.
- The note’s words. A ring note with no words shows No words, only the recording.
- When you made it, where you were, and which device sent it.
Pull the list down to get new notes. Tap Show older notes at the end of the list to read further back.
Write a note
Section titled “Write a note”- Tap New note.
- Type the note. The keyboard opens at once.
- Tap Save.
The note shows at once. With Pin notes to a place on, it keeps where you are; the place follows when the phone has a fix. A note sent two times, for example after the phone lost its answer, is kept once.
Where a ring note’s place comes from
Section titled “Where a ring note’s place comes from”The Pebble ring sends no place. With Location history on, a ring note takes the history point nearest in time, up to 10 minutes before or after you spoke. Location tells more.
The sync mark
Section titled “The sync mark”The mark at the top says how the phone is with your server. Tap it to sync now.
| Mark | What it means |
|---|---|
| Synced | Everything is on your server. |
| Syncing | The phone sends and gets notes now. |
| 2 waiting | Notes made with no signal. They show Waiting and go on the next sync. |
| Offline | The phone can’t reach your server. Nothing is lost. |
| Key refused | The server refused this phone’s key. Connect the phone with a new key. |
